This section will give you an overview of the different components of my grading system.
STAR LEVEL PROSPECT
POTENTIAL: D1 FBS
This is a player who showcases elite traits in every aspect of his game, consistently dominating matchups and rarely being outperformed. He has the ability to take over games and is widely regarded as a top-five talent at his position across his level of competition.
SCORE: 90+
ELITE LEVEL PROSPECT
POTENTIAL: D1 FBS
This is a player who has the potential to step in and make an immediate impact as a starter at a top-tier program. He possesses elite athleticism and refined skill traits that allow him to consistently win matchups against high-level competition.
SCORE: 85+
HIGH LEVEL PROSPECT
POTENTIAL: D1 FCS
This is a player with solid athletic traits, but he currently lacks the technical refinement needed to consistently win his matchups. He would benefit from at least a year of development before he's ready to compete and succeed at a high level consistently.
SCORE: 75-84
GOOD LEVEL PROSPECT
POTENTIAL: D1 FCS + D2 + U Sports
This is a player who projects as a high-quality backup at the highest level of competition, but he possesses a standout trait that, with development, could elevate him to a starting role over time. While not yet consistent, he has shown the ability to win matchups when given the opportunity.
SCORE: 70-74
SOLID LEVEL PROSPECT
POTENTIAL: D2 + U Sports
This player is a promising developmental prospect with solid athletic traits and measurables worth investing in. However, they will require a few years of refinement before being ready to make a significant impact on the field.
SCORE: 58-69
SATISFACTORY LEVEL PROSPECT
POTENTIAL: CJFL + JUCO + NAIA
This player lacks the necessary measurables, athletic traits, and/or technical skills to make a meaningful impact. They struggle against their current level of competition and do not consistently win matchups or dominate. As a result, their overall ceiling appears to be limited.
